Those were the sounds I heard before I went to bed two days ago. Everything sounded so clearly like THX surround sound, because there was a blackout for the second consecutive night~! No fans, no music, no TVs... it was so quiet that I could even hear my stomach growling at 120 decibles. WTF... Needless to say, I sweated as if I was in Sauna for the whole night... The worst part? The "Sauna" is filled with little blood-sucking flying creatures called mosquitoes!
Earlier that night, I went to Jusco to get some batteries for my torchlight. While queing up at the cashier, this little girl was asking her mum lots of questions. The conversation goes like this:
Girl: Mummy, what is this? [Pointing to the shelve next to the cashier innocently]
Mum: ......
Girl: What is it?
Mum: I don't know lah.
Girl: Are those candies?
Mum: Diam diam, I don't know lah. Don't ask me! I've never seen those.
Girl: Can I take it? [Preparing to take a packet of "candy"...]
Mum: Kenot lah! Don't take it, those are medicines. Don't simply touch ah.
... ... ...
Mum: Don't take ah. Else I hit you ah.
Girl: Why?!
Apparently, the "candy" that the little girl wanted so much looks like this...
