Bangkok Series Part 4... Second Day as a Tourist

On a sunny Sunday, we planned for our second outing. This time around, we planned to visit the Grand Palace.

This is the Bangkok Traffic... Colorful!

We took the BTS to Saphan Taksin station, before getting on a private boat. The tout wanted to charge us 500 Baht for the boat ride, but we walked away. In the end, he relented and we paid 100 Baht each. So tourists, be smart!

This is Chao Phraya that I had previously seen only in Geography textbooks

We got down at the Ta Tien pier, which is a stone's throw away from Wat Pho. Since we did not know where's the Grand Palace, we made an impromptu change of plan, and headed to Wat Pho instead. (It is actually just next to Wat Pho, duh!)

What Wat is this? Wat Pho~!

We were greeted in "Engrish" soon after we entered Wat Pho.
Please USES correct English next time, ok?
THANKS God I can understand what it says.

...also in Wat Pho

...and our Grand Palace trip was postponed to another week. More updates coming soon~~
